An electric radiant heating system is 100% efficient, just like an electric baseboard. A watt in = a watt out. But how it delivers the heat and the comfort it provides is where the big differences lay.

Today we’re going to install an Earth Thermal Storage system made by ThermaRay. What it is is a Teflon coated nichrome wire embedded in sheetrock and this sheetrock keeps the wires pre-spaced and it makes it easy for installation.

The tower sits at 45 East 22nd Street, at the base of New York’s iconic Madison Square Park. While it is still unfinished, residents can begin moving in later this fall.
