Rick joined ThermaRay in 2013. Mr. Fraij is a B.Sc.E.E, LEED Green Associate and Principal at Petra Building Solutions.
After years of education in the renewable energy and energy conservation fields, Rick has started his own business to consult construction professionals to design and build better buildings for their clients.
His efforts to continue growing his knowledge and sharing it keeps him motivated to learn new stuff every day, as a matter of fact; he is currently working towards becoming a Certified PassivHaus Consultant, one of the strictest and most rigorous building standards on the planet.

At Petra, we help construction professionals find cost effective solutions for common building issues. It is our mission to make sure home owners and building operators attain the best building quality and the highest building performance they wish, by working side by side with construction professionals to achieve this goal.
We have created a portfolio of innovative products that solve important design issues with minimal costs. We partnered with ThermaRay after vigorous research and started immediately marketing its innovative heating solution to major engineering and architectural companies in Ontario and Quebec.
